cutbg is built so your photos never have to trust a server in the first place.
Your image never leaves your device
Background removal runs entirely in your browser: the image-segmentation model downloads to your device and runs inference locally, via WebGPU or WASM. This app has no server endpoint that accepts images, so an uploaded photo physically cannot be sent to a server.
Analytics — aggregate only
We use Umami and Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (e.g. visit counts and completed processing runs). Neither service ever receives your image content or personal data.
